Casa Blanca Cafe in Winslow

Delicious.. always a treat

I've been going there twice a year for 15 years, stopping whenever I pass through Winslow. The food is A+++. The owner, Helen, has been running the restaurant for over 30 years and she and her son, Gabriel, oversee all the cooking. The Chicken Fajitas is among the best I've ever had anywhere and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food. They tenderize their own meats, and cook everything fresh to order, which means some dishes take a while to make, but it's real home cooking. The best.

This is real deal New Mexican Arizona family food. Not for drinkers not American food. Blue corn tortillas.

This is a very historically significant place. Definitely worth going and seeing and a good gift shop with something for every budget.

Unassuming little family-run restaurant with AMAZING food. Very kind and friendly woman working there who helped us decide what to eat. Very accommodating for our mostly vegetarian family - the navajo taco with whole beans and the rellenos were fantastic! So were the blue corn enchiladas with chicken. Great lunch stop! 😊

Always good food and service

Very nice people and cute Mexican tile tables, but we didn't like anything we ordered for lunch. We got several different kinds of tacos and rice & beans, all of it bland and below the standards of your average Mexican restaurant anywhere in America. Also it left an odd taste in my mouth. Expected better from what seemed like a promising hole in the wall sort of place.

Customer service was horrible! We were the 2nd table in the restaurant but still took time to get our food... No drink refills... Forgot our salad. Ordered mashed potatoes but got French fries. Roast beef was dry... I don't recommend this place, bad experience we will not be coming back.

Great food great service

I'm always hesitate to come here. Everytime it's different. Service is a majority of the time not great, the food is okay (I come for the grilled chicken salad) But for me it's over priced for the quality of service and food. Not worth wasting your money. Do yourself a favor and go to Brown Mug, Mi Pueblo or E&O Kitchen.

Good affordable Mexican food. Plenty of nacho chips and salsa. Prices start at $7.00 for meals which often come with rice and beans.

My husband & I walked in 5 minutes before closing & we were still seated & had our orders taken right away. The customer service was excellent! Everyone was so kind and professional. The food was delicious! Thank you to the owner of the restaurant, you were such a wonderful person. Also the employees, thank you all! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I passed through Winslow at lunch time and saw this unassuming restaurant had some really good reviews. It is a little difficult to find (next door to the white hanger). Great food, huge portions, and great pricing. Left very full and very satisfied. Get off the main path in Winslow and enjoy some great Mexican food.

Casa Blanca was awesome and the place is so clean and the owners are so cool they great you like family this place is great!!!!

Our waitor was not very polite or courteous...made our experience awkward. The rice was overcooked and burnt. Our food came to us cold.

Loved everything about this place. Kickin lunch specials, and a cheesecake chimichanga Deadpool would travel for! Too cute inside, staff was just as friendly. Would definitely come again.

Stopped while traveling along I-40. I don't recommend this place. We arrived at 8:10 on Saturday, and were greeted by the waitress that they were already closed, despite everything including the menu provided stating that they close at 9. The waitress was nice enough to let us order anyway. Tried the Navajo taco. It was cold/Luke warm depending on the bite. Also tried a quesadilla that was mediocre at best. Next time will drive on.

Food use to be awesome like 5 years ago, but today, it wasnt great, waiter was nice, but food took forever, my lil one got impatient and started fussing so we asked for to go. Food came out on plates and we had to place foods in a cheap foam plate and have it covered with foil. It was expensive and smelled like dog food. But since we paid (i wanted to just walk out and leave but mister insisted on paying yay him) we ate on the side road in our car, food didnt taste great. Rice and beans taste like it was from a can. The only thing tastes good was the tamales, oh yeah did i mention the fries was dark brown, not golden. Well it sucked there. I wouldnt recommend this place.

If possible I'd give this place zero stars.....the waitress was rude. The hambuger patty tasted like it was reheated. The chicken in the tacos were too salty and plain. But the chips and salsa were good even though it wasn't hot. So overall I'm never eating here again. Also Winslow needs more places open on sundays....

Slow service, Chile Relleno had zero heat. My friend ordered chicken soft tacos, 15 minutes after ordering the server tells us they ran out of chicken. Free chips and salsa was good.

Food here wasn't all that great!! It's has lost it's homemade traditional cooking. The chips came directly out of the bag wasn't homemade, salsa taste gross and it came from the can ,plus found a hair in my salsa I didn't care to continue to eat the chips and salsa yuck!! , my combination plate was gross it just taste fake .. I was sad cause the cooks before them took the traditional cooking more serious. I felt the employee I watched didn't really care for customers. Casa Blanca Mexican restaurant lost it's traditional touch and it is a bad place to eat now.. I won't recommend my friends and family to stop at this place. Casa Blanca trun into another trashy place in winslow... Sad!!

Had a great experience here. Food was delicious, great service and free chips & salsa. I would recommend and will eat there next time i visit Winslow.
